Mint Julep and Sweet Melody

Two birds of a feather, Mint Julep, and Sweet Melody are rarely ever seen apart.

Melody is the more expressive of the two, show skill in many arts from pottery to sculpting to dance. Where she really shines is in her confectionery and her singing, with her own special form of bubblegum pop. She adamantly denies having a crush on Mint.

Julep is more reserved than their best friend. They use gender-neutral pronouns and often have to explain that this is because they are hermaphroditic. Despite this, they are one of Ponyville's best bartenders and can be seen getting hit on frequently by ponies of both genders. This frustrates Sweet Melody greatly.
